Guatemala is located in Central America. It is just under 110,000 km² in area and has a population of approximately 14 million people, 51% percent of which come from the 21 different Maya groups living in Guatemala.

Oxlajuj B'atz' currently works with 22 Mayan women's groups in 7 Guatemalan departments: Sololá, Baja Verapaz, Quetzaltenango, Chimaltenango, Quiche, Suchitepequez, and Totonicapan.  

Our headquarters are located in Panajachel, Solola, on beautiful Lake Atitlan.
